Until this past Monday, Google+ has been focused on connecting people with other people, but in life, you connect with all kinds of people, places and things. On November 7, Google announced Google+ Pages to ensure you can build relationships with all the things you interact with, including local businesses & global brands.
Direct Connect from Google search
There are two ways to add Pages to Circles from Google search. The first is through Google+ Pages in search results, and the second is a new feature called Direct Connect.
Direct Connect makes it easy to connect to your favorite brands; just go to Google and search for [+], followed by the page you’re interested in (like +Angry Birds). You’re taken to the brand’s Google+ page, where you can add them to your circle.
