You are tired of designing calendar date pickers, writing jQuery to make up for bad HTML, and “making it look more web 2.0”, and are ready to use your tools to really create something incredible. You care about responsiveness, you obsess over efficient script, you design with the user in mind, and while you express a degree of disdain toward certain Washington-based companies’ web browsers, you secretly enjoy the challenge of tackling a nasty browser compatibility issue and emerging victorious. You are someone who wants your work to speak for itself, you understand your impact on the business and want to be a critical part of the design of amazing technologies, you are great at managing your own time in an autonomous environment, and you are cool, but in a pretty nerdy way.

Our front-end tag and tool management platform, Satellite, is all about removing the IT bottleneck from a critical part of web site management. This game-changing technology allows marketers and analysts to manage tracking, survey, analytics, testing, and other platforms independent of site releases, and gives these teams a suite of tools that help them to break free from their dependency on developers and inline tracking edits. Our current customers include Chick-fil-A, Pergo, DOW, EVE Online, Discovery Networks, and more.

The Job:
Satellite is a product with a hugely exciting roadmap, and there are other exciting products right alongside it, waiting for your input. You would be a developer on a category-changing technology and would work with a team of rock stars to continually take Satellite to the next level.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong object-oriented Javascript skills with 3+ years practical engineering experience in building large-scale web-based applications using the latest standards-based approaches
- Mastered one or more major Javascript frameworks
- Familiar with web standards and cross browser development
- Strong CS fundamentals gained through Bachelor’s degree in CS, HCI or related discipline or equivalent industry experience
- Design and UX sensibilities
- Well versed in HTML5 and CSS3
- May have some experience in mobile app development (iOS/Android)
- Ideally a contributor to open source projects
