Search Marketing Intern

Position Reports to: Director of Media

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Search Discovery is committed to investing in its employees and helping them develop the skills and knowledge to become experts in the field. The search marketing intern will support account managers in the day-to-day management of agency clients. A strong candidate will be hungry to learn and excited to take on new projects and opportunities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with account managers to create, launch and monitor search campaigns
  • Manage the daily, weekly and monthly campaign metrics and reporting
  • Monitor and analyze trends in the data, make optimizations recommendations
  • Keep track of client goals against campaign spend and overall budgets
  • Stay current with industry best practices and search engine technologies
  • Provide effective written recommendations to agency and clients

Required Experience:

  • Internet enthusiast with a passion for exploring the online space showing continued effort to develop technology skill sets or qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Able to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • HTML and Javascript coding competence
  • Experience in the design and/or production of websites
