This week at the Google Analytics Summit American Cancer Society and Search Discovery were presented with the 2015 Google Analytics Award for Excellence. One of two recipients of the award, the two organizations were recognized for the creation of a custom segmentation and scoring model which resulted in a more than 5% increase in donation revenue for American Cancer Society last year.

The custom segmentation and scoring model that Search Discovery developed and built into Google Analytics allowed for much greater understanding of customer activity and gave ACS the ability to discover visitor trends which they were able to capitalize on to increase donations and relevant material.
