Michael Hel­bling, Ana­lyt­ics Prac­tice Lead, accepts the 2015 Google Ana­lyt­ics Award for Excel­lence

This week at the Google Ana­lyt­ics Sum­mit Amer­i­can Can­cer Soci­ety and Search Dis­cov­ery were pre­sent­ed with the 2015 Google Ana­lyt­ics Award for Excel­lence. One of two recip­i­ents of the award, the two orga­ni­za­tions were rec­og­nized for the cre­ation of a cus­tom seg­men­ta­tion and scor­ing mod­el which result­ed in a more than 5% increase in dona­tion rev­enue for Amer­i­can Can­cer Soci­ety last year.

The cus­tom seg­men­ta­tion and scor­ing mod­el that Search Dis­cov­ery devel­oped and built into Google Ana­lyt­ics allowed for much greater under­stand­ing of cus­tomer activ­i­ty and gave ACS the abil­i­ty to dis­cov­er vis­i­tor trends which they were able to cap­i­tal­ize on to increase dona­tions and rel­e­vant mate­r­i­al.
