AdWords Call Only CreativeCall-Only Creative Launch­ing for Mobile Google Display Network

This week Google begins rolling out call-only creatives for the Mobile Google Display Network, which bene­fits adver­tis­ers who want to focus solely on driving phone calls to their busi­ness via their mobile campaigns. This option applies to text ads and is roulette online avail­able when creat­ing a phone exten­sion in the campaign. The ads will appear on high end mobile devices.

In text ads, the click­able phone number will appear below the ad. For mobile content and apps, the ad will appear as an animated banner text ad with a phone icon to click to call directly from the ad. In both cases, the head­line in the ad will not be click­able.
