Until this past Mon­day, Google+ has been focused on con­nect­ing peo­ple with oth­er peo­ple, but in life, you con­nect with all kinds of peo­ple, places and things. On Novem­ber 7, Google announced Google+ Pages to ensure you can build rela­tion­ships with all the things you inter­act with, includ­ing local busi­ness­es & glob­al brands.

Direct Con­nect from Google search
There are two ways to add Pages to Cir­cles from Google search. The first is through Google+ Pages in search results, and the sec­ond is a new fea­ture called Direct Con­nect.
Direct Con­nect makes it easy to con­nect to your favorite brands; just go to Google and search for [+], fol­lowed by the page you’re inter­est­ed in (like +Angry Birds). You’re tak­en to the brand’s Google+ page, where you can add them to your cir­cle.
