Search Dis­cov­ery is excit­ed to be a 2012 spon­sor for team Jog­ging for Jugs, an Atlanta Race for the Cure team, for its sec­ond year in a row. This is the 22nd Susan G. Komen race for the cure, and is already one of the top cor­po­rate team spon­sors for the race. About the Race for the Cure

The Susan G. Komen Atlanta Race for the Cure®, cel­e­brat­ed every spring on Mother’s Day Week­end, serves as the pre­miere fundrais­er for the Greater Atlanta Affil­i­ate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Start­ed in 1991 with just a few hun­dred par­tic­i­pants, the Race has grown steadi­ly to more than 17,000!

The Komen Race for the Cure® Series is the world’s largest and most suc­cess­ful edu­ca­tion and fundrais­ing event for breast can­cer. Since its orig­i­na­tion in Dal­las in 1983, the series has grown from one local race with 800 par­tic­i­pants to an inter­na­tion­al series of 114 races with more than 1.3 mil­lion par­tic­i­pants.

About Team Jogging for Jugs

This will mark the 5th year Jog­ging for Jugs will be par­tic­i­pat­ing in the 5K and 1 mile walk on Mother’s Day week­end in Atlanta. In 2010, Jog­ging for Jugs went nation­al with teams sprout­ing in oth­er cities like Austin, Chica­go, Philadel­phia and Charleston, WV.  The team has fundraised over $20,000 for the fight against breast can­cer.
