Vanessa Fox, creator of Google Webmaster Central, came to Atlanta last week to speak to a group of Internet marketers about how businesses need to focus on getting web marketing synched up with their traditional marketing efforts. Vanessa walked through several recent examples of traditional advertising during the Super Bowl, all met with underwhelming search tactics and missed opportunities. Joshua Palau of Razorfish was also present to talk about getting SEO and Paid Search efforts working together, noting that “Search is search.” Simple, but we couldn’t agree more.
