Vanessa Fox, creator of Google Webmas­ter Central, came to Atlanta last week to speak to a group of Inter­net marketers about how busi­nesses need to focus on getting web market­ing synched up with their tradi­tional market­ing efforts. Vanessa walked through several recent exam­ples of tradi­tional adver­tis­ing during the Super Bowl, all met with under­whelm­ing search tactics and missed oppor­tu­ni­ties. Joshua Palau of Razor­fish was also present to talk about getting SEO and Paid Search efforts working together, noting that “Search is search.” Simple, but we couldn’t agree more.
