**Philip is a programmer who has gotten to rub professional elbows with some of the world’s largest brands and tech companies, including Coca-Cola, Chick-fil‑a, Facebook, and Spotify, designing and implementing end-to-end solutions to complex technical problems. He began his career as a recently-graduated student of Philosophy whose love for challenging ideas and well-crafted words soon translated itself into a passion for application architecture and design patterns. Classical Philosophy, meet Classical Inheritance.

Before joining Search Discovery, Philip spent several years in Atlanta’s advertising scene, helping companies in an industry still working through its technological growing pains leverage the latest tech to build innovative web apps and social integration platforms.

Philip has cultivated a passion for researching and discovering the best practices and best solutions for problems old and new, and believes deeply that the best part of professional software development is the interminable necessity of continual learning.

About Me

I live in a 100 year old bungalow on the Eastside with my beautiful wife and a Welsh Terrier named Lola. I spend my free time trying to fix my house, reading books, and playing music–each with varying degrees of success. Atlanta has been my home for over a decade, and I love the city’s neighborhoods, restaurants, tree canopy, and football team.
