On March 10, 2016, Atlanta’s best marketers, corpo­ra­tions and agen­cies came together at the Fox Theater to recog­nize strate­gic inno­va­tions and excel­lence in 25 cate­gories at the 59th annual Atlanta Marketer of the Year (AMY) Awards, hosted by the Atlanta chapter of the Amer­i­can Market­ing Asso­ci­a­tion (AMA).

This year, we were recog­nized as a final­ist in 3 differ­ent cate­gories:

Search Discovery is honored to be awarded two AMY Awards this year, both in the Market­ing Analyt­ics cate­gory. These wins signify our agency focus on analyt­ics excel­lence in terms of analyt­ics execu­tion and appli­ca­tion for clients.

One win was for Analyt­ics Appli­ca­tion, where Search Discovery and the Amer­i­can Cancer Society used user scores to iden­tify opti­miza­tion oppor­tu­ni­ties on cancer.org. Search Discovery created a solu­tion to filter users into one or more of the three iden­ti­fied segments as they accom­plish each conver­sion event, and monitor each user’s journey as they return to the site across multi­ple sessions. The new user-scoring metrics also allowed ACS’s analysts to iden­tify behav­ior changes in each segment that would other­wise have gone unno­ticed when viewing the full data set.

The second trophy was awarded for our work with Apart­ment Finder and imple­ment­ing perfor­mance dash­boards with an indus­try leading data visu­al­iza­tion tech­nol­ogy to support team deci­sions around budget allo­ca­tion across media chan­nels, budget pacing across 160+ local metro areas as well as perfor­mance views to guide opti­miza­tion strate­gies.
