On March 10, 2016, Atlanta’s best marketers, corporations and agencies came together at the Fox Theater to recognize strategic innovations and excellence in 25 categories at the 59th annual Atlanta Marketer of the Year (AMY) Awards, hosted by the Atlanta chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA).
This year, we were recognized as a finalist in 3 different categories:
Marketing Analytics — Analytics Application
Marketing Analytics — Data Visualization
Search Discovery is honored to be awarded two AMY Awards this year, both in the Marketing Analytics category. These wins signify our agency focus on analytics excellence in terms of analytics execution and application for clients.
One win was for Analytics Application, where Search Discovery and the American Cancer Society used user scores to identify optimization opportunities on cancer.org. Search Discovery created a solution to filter users into one or more of the three identified segments as they accomplish each conversion event, and monitor each user’s journey as they return to the site across multiple sessions. The new user-scoring metrics also allowed ACS’s analysts to identify behavior changes in each segment that would otherwise have gone unnoticed when viewing the full data set.
The second trophy was awarded for our work with Apartment Finder and implementing performance dashboards with an industry leading data visualization technology to support team decisions around budget allocation across media channels, budget pacing across 160+ local metro areas as well as performance views to guide optimization strategies.
