Anna is an experi­enced Analyst with a demon­strated history of working in the market­ing and adver­tis­ing indus­try. She’s skilled in Analyt­ics, Data Visu­al­iza­tion, Data Analy­sis, Imple­men­ta­tion and Opti­miza­tion Testing. She is a strong busi­ness devel­op­ment profes­sional with a Bachelor’s Degree focused in Market­ing with empha­sis in Digital Market­ing and a Certifi­cate in Music Busi­ness from The Univer­sity of Georgia.

What are two random facts about you?

  1. I used to work in the music indus­try making live record­ings of concerts and mixing them into radio shows for bands like Alabama Shakes, MuteMath and Drive by Truck­ers.
  2. I’ve been to over 300 concerts in my life­time.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pota­toes in any form. They’re the most versa­tile food that exists! Mashed, baked, sautéed, boiled, fried, grilled…shoutout to pota­toes for holding it down no matter my mood.


What are the 4 things you can’t live without?

  1. Spotify: Music is my lifeblood.
  2. Bodies of water: Any type of body of water keeps me at peace. If I could go swim­ming every­day I would.
  3. Poetry: Poetry is a way I love to express myself. 
  4. Laugh­ter: Laugh­ter is the most healing thing to exist.

What three traits define you?

Detail-oriented, strate­gic, empa­thetic.

What is something that you recently learned?

I recently learned how to strate­gi­cally esti­mate and scope out projects for clients that come to us needing an analyt­ics imple­men­ta­tion or migra­tion. I also recently figured out a way to “artis­ti­cally” map out user behav­ior across several websites so clients can under­stand their user journey and drop off points with Google Analyt­ics, Google DataS­tu­dio and all while being visu­ally pleas­ing to the eye..

What is an important/cool trend you see in our industry today?

An impor­tant trend I see in our indus­try is automa­tion of tasks that used to take long periods of time. This will leave more space for people to thrive as tech vision­ar­ies. Another cool trend I see is the ability to better predict user behav­ior. With predic­tive analyt­ics, it’s only a matter of time before every busi­ness under­stands the value of a poten­tial lead before that person has even decided to become a lead them­selves.

Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?

Amster­dam! It’s so picturesque and has some­thing to offer every­one. The beach, romance, nightlife, day-time activ­i­ties, wonder­ful food and so much diver­sity. The city is so active with an average of 4 bikes to every person and every­one seems so healthy and happy. I have yet to expe­ri­ence another city that has all of these things in one place.

What 3 words would you use to describe Search Discovery?

Spunky, pioneer­ing, authen­tic.

Our purpose is to help people thrive. Describe a transformation you’ve experienced in your time at SDI?

My back­ground before coming to Search Discovery was in an unre­lated field. After being here for over 3 years I am now able to spear­head projects and give advice as a SME in the analyt­ics space with confi­dence. Tag manage­ment systems, analyt­ics plat­forms and beau­ti­fully func­tional dash­boards are now my specialty and tech is my language. Because of the experts that reside here at SDI, I’ve grown in the tech space like I never imag­ined I would.

What’s your favorite thing about working at Search Discovery?

The people are truly the best.  If I need help whether it be tech­ni­cally or just someone to bounce ideas off of, there is always someone around willing to give their time.
