Two Search Discovery Teammates Named Adobe Analytics Champions

Aug 19, 2022

Adobe has a new class of Adobe Analytics Champions for 2022, and among these 40 best-of-the-best representatives, two Search Discovery teammates are in the mix. Search Discovery is the only company among the carefully selected 40 Champions with two recognized employees.

Senior Analytics Engineers Sarah Owen and Jason Egan were selected from among hundreds of applicants worldwide from customers and partners competing for a spot in this prestigious program.

What Does It Mean to be an Adobe Analytics Champion?

Adobe Analytics Champions are the top 40 “most knowledgeable, passionate, and engaged” Adobe Analytics practitioners worldwide, according to Adobe. The Champions are product experts and leaders who actively help Adobe Analytics users improve their technical skill set and enhance their product knowledge.

Who are the Champions?

Sarah Owen Adobe Champion

For more than 15 years, Sarah Owen has been engaged in the analytics industry. Driven by serving others, she has partnered with Adobe to write helpful how-to articles and share implementation tips via webinars and in-person events. Sarah’s passion for analytics is reflected in her being selected as an Adobe Analytics Champion for a third consecutive year and in her dedication to co-leading an Adobe Analytics User Group.

Outside of analytics, Sarah enjoys cheering on her nieces and nephews, attending car shows with her husband in his ‘79 International Harvester Scout, and volunteering at church.

Jason Egan Adobe Champion

Jason has worked in digital analytics and marketing for more than 20 years, as both a practitioner and consultant. He has participated in Adobe’s Customer Advisory Board and the writing of several of Adobe’s certification exams for Adobe Analytics . He has designed and implemented hundreds of analytics strategies across business verticals. Jason works and lives in Knoxville, TN.

What Does This News Mean for Search Discovery Clients?

The Champions will have opportunities this year for career development, knowledge sharing, exclusive speaking engagements, connection with fellow Adobe Analytics users, and opportunities to share feedback and inform the Adobe Analytics product roadmap.

All of these opportunities trickle down to Search Discovery clients, who will benefit from the Champions’ access to knowledge at the cutting edge of the field to help solve the toughest analytics challenges and drive business impact.

Sarah says, “It is an honor to be a 2022-2023 Adobe Analytics Champion. Being part of this program allows us to partner with Adobe— the product team, the support team, the retention and adoption team—to discuss upcoming features and share feedback from colleagues and clients regarding enhancements, all in an effort to collaboratively move the industry forward!”

Jason echos Sarah. “I’m very honored to have been chosen as an Adobe Analytics Champion for the 2022-2023 year, and I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise with the Adobe Analytics community. I am also looking forward to contributing to the Adobe product teams and being a part of the growth of Adobe.”
